Championship Results

First Central Coast Tang Soo Do attended the 7th annual Universal Tang Soo Do Championship in Highland, CA. With 28 students driving down to compete, they came back with Two Grand Champions, 23 trophy’s in open hand forms, 19 in sparring and 8 in weapon forms. Also the Demo Team took 4th place in the competition with 23 participants on the team. The school also won an award for the most participant of 28 students.
Master Ted Jackson

Master Teddy Jackson started his Martial Arts career in 1967, in Brooklyn New York's Tang Dojo Shotakan Karate under Tom LePuppet and George Coffield. He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1972, during the ending of the Viet Nam War. He was stationed in England U.K. in 1975 where he began training in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan under Master Youngman Lee. He earned his first dan black belt in 1977. He has won a number of U.S. and European championships in fighting, forms and weapons. After competing for a number of years, he began to focus more time on teaching, "I wanted to give something back".
Karate Kids Camp
- 2nd annual karate kids camp followed by an all new summer time boot camp!
- Both training curriculums will be designed for the current students and those who have now experience. The karate kids camp will be for ages 4 and up. This will be a great family outing with games and team building opportunities. Parents, siblings and friend are encouraged to come and participate. Friday night we will eat dinner cover the rules and enjoy popcorn and a movie. Saturday: breakfast, lunch each followed by vigorous training and games. That night we will present awards and have a combined dinner with the summer boot camp participants. Summer time boot camp will follow a similar structure.
